[Series 성균저널 1]

『성균저널 오브 이스트 아시안 스터디즈』(이하 성균저널)는 2001년 성균관대학교 동아시아학술원에서 창간되어 연 2회 발간되고 있는 전문 학술지이다. 『성균저널』은 한중일을 중심으로 동아시아와 관련된 철학, 문학, 역사, 종교 등, 인문학 분야의 학술 논문을 게재하여 지난 2009년 12월에는 A & HCI에 등재됨으로써 세계적인 전문 학술지로서의 위상을 드높였다. 2011년 4월호(11권 1호)에는 역경 해석과 사회변화(Tze-ki HON 교수), 구양수와 오구 소라이의 해석학 비교(Douglas SKONICKI 교수), 당나라 시인 이상은의 시에 대한 분석(Li ZENG 교수), 그리고 낙랑에서 출토된 논어 죽간(김경호 교수) 등의 논문이 게재되었다. 2011년 10월호에는 창간 10주년을 맞이하여 Timothy Brook (UBC) 교수의 중국 사형제도에 관한 논문 등 6편의 논문이 개재될 예정이다.

The Sungkyun Journal of East Asian Studies (SJEAS), published since the year 2001 by the Academy of East Asian Studies (AEAS) at Sungkyunkwan University, Seoul, Korea, is a refereed multi-disciplinary journal dedicated to East Asian Studies. With original contributions from all over the world and an increasing readership, SJEAS enjoys a growing reputation in the field of East Asian Studies. SJEAS, published biannually in April and October, has been selected for coverage in Thomson Reuters’ Current Contents/ Arts & Humanities, and Arts & Humanities Citation Index (A&HCI). The 2011 April issue includes the articles on Classical Exegesis and Social Change, Hermeneutics of Ouyang Xiu and Ogyū Sorai, Li Shangyin’s Poetry, and Excavated Bamboo and Wooden–strip Analects. This year will mark the 10th anniversary in October. In order to celebrate its birthday, SJEAS is preparing to publish a special issue on transnationalism, including Professor Timothy Brook’s (UBC) article entitled “Capital Punishment and State Sovereignty in China.”
